Wax models of Bollywood stars – a big hit at Madame Tussauds’
Popular among the Indian community living abroad, the Bollywood superstars modeled in wax draws a huge crowd in Madame Tussads Wax Museum.
In recent years, the officials at the Museum have observed an increase in the number of Indian people who come to observe and take photos with the wax models of their favorite celebrities.

Madame Tussads features wax models of Bollywood superstars like Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Salman Khan and Hrithik Roshan.
The craze of these wax replica represents how Indian films and culture have an effect on the people. Apart from the Bollywood personalities, sculptures of Indian politicians like Mahatma Gandhi and Indira Gandhi also attract Indians in the Museum.
The wax model of cricket batsman Sachin Tendulkar also drew a huge crowd. Other crowd drawers include Nelson Mandela and Tibetan spiritual leader, Dalai Lama.
Marie Tussaud
Wax sculptor Marie Tussaud was a gifted sculptor who can make real life sculptors of people. Marie opened a museum that named as Madame Tussauds Wax Museum with all of her wax model creations in London’s Baker Street in the year 1835. The museum got very popular as the models look very real and people couldn’t differentiate between the real and the wax model.
