‘Ek Tha Tiger’ breaks 1st day, 1st weekend records

Salman Khan’s much awaited movie ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ has not only opened to packed houses, the movie has set new records on the day 1 of its release. The Salman-Katrina starrer has broken the first day records of Hrithik’s "Agneepath" and Shahrukh Khan’s "RA.One". The film reportedly collected a huge, Rs. 32.92 crore on the opening day. The total on of Rs. 59.22 crores on the opening weekend is in itself a new record in Bollywood film industry.

Previous 1st day record included Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Agneepath’ had collected Rs. 23 crores in it’s opening day another much hyped movie of Shahrukh Khan ‘Ra.One’ created the opening day record of 25 crores.

Not only in India, the film has done an outstanding business in overseas markets too.
